The Wedding Workshop
What is it?
The Wedding Workshop is a one day learning experience where photographers will gather and learn how to grow and develop in the wedding industry. This will be a full day of learning and end with a GORGEOUS styled wedding shoot to be able to add to your portfolio. Headshots by Fulleylove Photography will also be included for all attendees!
When and Where is it?
Join us on Tuesday, January 23rd, 2018 for an incredible day! The workshop will be held at one of Houston’s most gorgeous new wedding venues, The Farmhouse. Specifically located in Montgomery, Texas, this gorgeous white barn, full of shiplap and natural light will be the perfect setting for learning how to shoot weddings more efficiently. Not from the area? Out of town guests are also welcome to attend. Just let me know and I can get you setup with best airports and hotels available!
What will we be learning about?
This one day will be filled to the brim with learning all the ins and outs of wedding photography. I will be sharing my personal experience of starting my business and shooting 2 weddings to going full time and shooting 39 weddings in one year. Various topics will be covered including-
- how to start photographing weddings
- marketing and finding your ideal bride
- growing your business
- client experience
- importance of branding
- wedding day timelines
- how to pose your couples naturally
- what products I personally use in my business
…and so much more. I will walk you step by step how I book my brides through how I shoot their wedding day to how I deliver their final product. I’m thrilled to open up my heart and share my personal experience becoming a full time wedding photographer! This will be a hands on workshop where I will show you tangible products that I use throughout my business!
Is this workshop for me?
Photographers in all stages of business are invited to attend. Whether you are just now thinking about starting a wedding photography business or have already been shooting weddings and want to take that next step, there will be something for you to learn! Although we won’t be covering how to use your camera or how to technically shoot, I do suggest knowing how to shoot in manual mode.
What else can I expect to take away from this workshop?
Being a full-time mom and business owner myself, I know how difficult it can be to step away from your life and responsibilities for a full day or more. Beyond what’s been mentioned above, we have some amazing sponsors that will be spoiling our attendees like crazy! The images you will take away from the styled shoot portion will be a photographer’s dream to have in your portfolio. And lastly, one of my favorite things about workshops, is the community we will build together. All of the attendees will be added to a Facebook group that will continue long after the work shop is over. It will be place we can come together, share ideas, and support one another. The relationships you will build here will be so worth your investment!
Budgets are a real thing; how much is this going to cost?
This workshop will be available to attend for $750. There will be early bird registration available through September 30th for $100 off. $350 will be due in order to secure your seat and the remainder will be due one month before the workshop.
