Hannah made for an absolutely stunning bride. Even more gorgeous though, is the relationship she shares with her now husband, Blake. After photographing her and her then fiancé for their engagement session, I knew the chemistry on their wedding day would be one for the books. I sure wasn’t disappointed!
I was so fortunate to be with Hannah and her bridal party as they spent time together getting ready for the big day. There’s nothing like spending an afternoon with your closest girlfriends. Not only do they make sure you look your best, but help calm your pre-wedding nerves! I loved seeing the emotion on Hannah’s father’s face as he walked in and saw his baby girl all dressed up and ready for her wedding. Memories like these are some of my absolute favorite to document. I was honored to capture these precious moments between the two of them as she presented him with some special cuff-links. He then escorted her to the church in style - a Rolls Royce! Nothing but the best for his little girl.
Their ceremony took place at one of Houston’s most stunning churches, Sacred Heart Co-Cathedral. The pink and white marble in the grand cathedral coincidentally coordinated perfectly with Hannah’s bridal party.
After the ceremony, we spent some time with the bridal party at a nearby park under the shade of a few timeless oaks. Who says you can’t have fun getting a bride and groom and 20 of their closest friends to pose for pictures? It was so much fun to see each of their personalities and close relationships shine. I loved getting to laugh alongside this tight-knit group! There’s no denying this bunch are a fun crowd.
When we were done capturing a few images of Hannah and Blake soaking in their newly wedded bliss, it was time to party! The reception was held at the stunning Petroleum Club of Houston. This venue boasts the finest details and offers a breathtaking view of the downtown Houston skyline! Hannah and Blake entered with a twirl and the festivities began. They were celebrated with a slide-show of their story, hilarious toasts, and TONS of impressive dance moves. When the time came for the newlyweds to take their leave, everyone lined up and showered them with confetti and well wishes.
It was a gorgeous night celebrating an even more gorgeous couple. Thank you so much, Hannah and Blake for allowing me the opportunity to be a part of your big day!
